Arm Balance Workshop

Wait, Weight, Steady: Arm Balances
Arm balances can be daunting.  The key word is BALANCE.  In this workshop with Nadine Johnson, we’ll focus on proper shoulder alignment, awareness of your center of gravity and hip opening.  Nadine’s life long Ashtanga practice is the perfect preparation for teaching arm balances from the Advanced Series.  Fly high with happy hips!

·      side plank – vasisthasana
·      crow pose – bakasana
·      one legged crow – eka pada bakasana
·      side crow A, B & C – parsva bakasana A, B & C
·      flying bug – tittibhasana
·      arm pressure balance -bhujapidasana

This workshop is open to all, beginning through advanced.
Free for members. 
Non-members pay $25 for a day pass and get access to the full gym, including the workshop!
