I live in San Francisco, my home town working, volunteering and teaching yoga while maintaining a strong practice and balanced life.  Safety, patience and inward focus have been key elements of my practice for over 20 years, which is grounded in Ashtanga Yoga as taught by the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in India.

I started practicing yoga to relax. While working 12 hour days and traveling 100K+ miles per year, yoga helped me stay healthy and thrive in my career. Yoga made the competitive corporate environment manageable.  I started teaching to help others discover what I have.  Yoga helped me find a healthier body, healthier mind and a more loving and honest approach to life.

I’ve graduated from teacher trainings with Clayton Horton at Greenpath Yoga and David Swenson.   And, have completed the Advanced Teacher Training Program with YogaWorks for my E-RYT 500 certification.   I completed the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy level I training.  I also continue my education through workshops and trainings with senior teachers such as Maty Ezraty, David Williams, Richard Freeman, Jonny Kest, Ana Forrest and Sarah Powers.

I teach yoga primarily in the San Francisco bay Area and lead yoga wellness retreats around the world with an emphasis on exploring and respecting the local history and culture.

“My advice on yoga is that if  you feel good afterwards, then keep doing it” ~ David Swenson

It’s just that simple….
